VOTE OF CONFIDENCE

HON. W. NASH ADDRESSES

RAILWAYMEN

An address was given by the Hon. W. Nash to employees of the Hutt workshops at noon today, and after his speech the following resolution was passed unanimously:—

. "That a hearty vote of thanks be given to the Hon. Walter Nash, and our entire confidence in him as the member for this district expressed. We appreciate the work that he has done and the work he will continue to do as one of the most progressive statesmen in the world today. Furthermore, this meeting wholeheartedly supports the Government's social security scheme, and asks Mr. Nash to convey to the Prime Minister from the railwaynien of the Hutt workshops their complete confidence in Mr. Savage to guide the destiny of this fair country for many years to come."
