ENGAGEMENT AT NABLUS

JERUSALEM, October 12.

Royal Engineers caused six terrorist casualties in an engagement at Nablus, after which, they destroyed the house of a bomb-thrower.

An attempt was made to assassinate District Commissioner Deward Reith. The attempt failed when two out of the four bombs'thrown from the city ramparts exploded harmlessly.
