LONDON, October 12,
The executive of the joint East African Board, in expressing its determination to resist the cession of Tanganyika to Germany, urges the organisation of an influential body of representative views in England and South Africa by those who are alarmed at the suggestion of cession. The committee draws attention to the strategic and economic consequences of cession and emphasises the undertakings of permanence of British administration given to the natives by Governors and Cabinet Ministers.
