LONDON, October 11.
Until the International Commission, which is meeting again today, gives its decision in respect to the plebiscites, the British Legion is completely in the dark as to whether it will be required to go to Czechoslovakia, though the weight of evidence available indicates that they will not be needed.
No announcement is expected for at least two days, as it is suggested that the work of the Commission in finalising the frontiers may be delayed by the Polish-Hungarian move for a common frontier.
The Prague correspondent of "The Times" says it is understood that, after the completion of the occupation of the fifth zone, the German Government made it known that it had called a halt, thereby suggesting that there will be no plebiscites.
So far a demand for a plebiscite has not been made by either the Czechs or the Germans. It is unlikely that the Czechs would win a plebiscite in the zones already under German occupation, and the Germans are not anxious for plebiscites outside these areas.
