ENTHUSIASTIC RECEPTION

ASHBURTON, October 11
The Hon. Adam Hamilton was given a wonderful reception in Ashburton at 5 p.m. when he addressed more than 500 people. The meeting was called at three hours' notice.
The address was punctuated with frequent applause and the speaker was cheered several times and given musical honours. A vote of thanks was passed and the meeting recorded confidence in Mr. Grigg as candidate for the Mid-Canterbury seat.
