GAOL PREFERRED
After the Minister of Labour (the Hon. H. T. Armstrong), when speaking at Christchurch, had described the condition of the unemployed under the past Government, he asked if there; were any men in the country who wanted to go back to the old order of things, states the "Star-Sun:" I A supporter answered that they j would be better off in gaol. "They were pretty lucky if they could get there in those times," rei joined the Minister, amid laughter.
