OYSTERS IN LONDON
Women are now as interested in the arrival of the first oysters as men are, if not more so, and for a good reason, states a London writer.
Oysters are slimming and at the same time nourishing. And so. women who can afford a dozen make a complete meal of oysters. This is the experience of fashionable hotels.
Once again the restaurant experts are laying down the law on the subject of the correct way to eat -this delicacy esteemed by the ancient-Britons no less than the modern epicures.
Here it is, as voiced by the Dorchester grill manager:
"The correct way to eat oysters is from the deep shell and in their own liquor. The only accompaniments necessary are lemon juice 0, a little red pepper, and brown bread and butter."
. A Chablis is recommended as the. best wine, to take with, oysters.
