GARDEN FETE

Great pleasure may be anticipated at the garden fete which has been arranged to take place in the lovely garden at "Homewood," which is in full early summer glory just now, and which has been lent by Mr. Sutherland to the Girl Guides of Wellington for the occasion. The fete will take place on November 26, and her Excellency Viscountess Galway has kindly consented to open it.

The Guides are arranging exhibitions of their work, and there will be a number of other attractions. The Mayoress '(Mrs. T. C. A* Hislop), provincial president, has held a meeting of ladies who will form a committee to arrange and look after the afternoon tea.
