BREWERY PROFITS DECREASE.
Castlemaine Perkins, Ltd., brewers, Brisbane, reports a profit of £99,555, a decrease of £31,563. The drop.in profits is not explained, but it could be accounted for by the brewery strike early in the financial year. Final dividend of 4 per cent, makes 8 per cent, for the year. Last year an additional 2 per cent, was paid as a jubilee bonus. This year's dividend takes £90,100: £15,000 is added to general reserve; and employees' benefit tuna receives £25Qft. __
