SPRING FLOWERS
ONSLOW SOCIETY'S SHOW
The Onslow Horticultural Society's spring show was held in the Public Hall, Khandallah, on Friday last The president, Mr. F. K. Porteous, thanked the judges, Mr. M. Poole (narcissi and miscellaneous, flowers) and Mrs. Mur-j ray (decorative). All exhibits were of very high standard. The R. A. Wright Cup No. 1 for most points in the narcissi classes was won by Mr. G. Young. The president presented to Mr. N. E. Amoore, the R. A. Wright Cup that was won by the members of the society at the Wellington Horticultural Society's ■ spring show, Mr. N. E. Amoore gaining most points. Two very fine displays were made by Mr. O. Gi&dall (cyclamens and cut flowers) and Mr. N. E. Amoore (narcissi). Trade displays were made by Mr. H. Poole, Mr. Peryman, and Mr. Kent. The champion blooms in the daffodil classes were exhibited by Mr. F. Marriott. The following awards were made: — Narcissi: G. Young, 7 firsts, 6 seconds, .12 thirds; L.
