TOMORROW'S FINALE
WELLINGTON V. WANGANUI
To an eventful Rugby season there should be quite an interesting and entertaining conclusion tomorrow afternoon when the representatives of Wanganui and Wellington meet at Athletic Park in the last match on thej programme of interprovincial engagements. It is not unusual for a football season to end with a flourish, and the teams for tomorrow's match at Rugby headquarters have the material to produce bright, exhilarating football. In both teams there are players who have figured in New Zealand trials, and it is possible that not a few of them will be under the New Zealand selector's eye next season. Wellington's side includes three All Blacks, with a Scottish international (M. McG. Cooper) as captain of the team. For the match, which is to start at 3 p.m., the teams have been chosen as follows:— WANGANUI. Full-back: K. Welsh. Three-quarters: L. Burgess, D. G. Barton, M. Shewan; c Five-eighths: G. Hook, E. Nicholls. Half-back: W. McLennan. Back-row forward: T. Collins. Middle-row forwards: M. Firmin, D. Matthews, A. Davidson, W. Glenn. Front-row forwards: B. Goldsbury, J. J. McDonald, I. Northover. Emergencies: Back, Johns; forward, Walker. WELLINGTON. Full-back: W. Crisp. Three-quarters: J. Wareham, W. J. Fulton, D. Thomson. Five-eighths: H. R. Pollock, J. Jones. Half-back: E. W. Tindill.
