SCHOOL GRANTS

IN HUTT DISTRICT

The Hon. W. Nash advises that Cabinet has approved of a grant for the erection of an additional classroom and out-office accommodation at the Wilford Public School, also the extension of the present heating service, the construction of concrete assembly area and paths, and for the provision of furniture. A grant has also been approved for the erection of a new school at Gracefield. This school will consist of six open-air classrooms. Provision will also be made for a concrete assembly area and necessai-y fencing. i Cabinet also approved of a grant for the erection on land recently acquired of two standard size open-air classrooms at Muritai, also cloakroom, with additional out-office accommodation |and a concrete assembly area.
