Official advice from Palestine states that two Jewish supernumeraries vrho were guarding labourers in Ramleh sub-district were shot dead and another wounded. A British sapper "was seriously injured when removing a bomb from the railway near MajdaL The Mukhtar of Deir Esh, a SJhekh village, and five members of his faimily were shot dead by bandits.
The Arab strike at Haifa has "beea called off and the situation is normal
