"Evening Post" Photo. The new Hutt Central School buildings at Lower Hutt are now nearing completion, and are expected to be ready for occupation at the beginning of next year. Although well on the road to completion from outward appearances, there is still much to do inside the new building.
"WiJo World" Photo. Captain G. E. T. Eyston in his great racing machine Thunderbolt roaring across the salt fiats at Bonneville, when he established his original record. It was beaten by John Cobb but next day Eyston again raised it. Advice was received from New York by cable yesterday, stating that the Thunderbolt had been damaged arid any further . attempt on the record by Eyston would he delayed until 1939* -- -~L^
