MIRAMAR ESPERANTO

SOCIETY

The weekly meeting of the Miramar Esperanto Society was held last Tuesday evening in the clubroom, St. Aidan's Hall, Miramar Avenue. Mr. Bertram Potts, J.P., presided. La Kroniko" ("The Chronicle'), the weekly organ of the society, was distributed, and in it were reported forthcoming activities of the Miramar Esperantists. The president reminded members that next week the meeting would take place in the Band Hall, Tahi Street, and the following week at Lower Hutt, when the society would officially visit the Lower Hutt Club. Several classes were formed under the direction of experienced teachers, when the sixteen rules of Esperanto grammar were explained. The second half of the evening was devoted to cohversation practice.
