MORNINGTON LADIES' MIDWEEK CLUB
Weather conditions were ideal on Wednesday when the Mornington Ladies' Midweek Club played the semi-final of the championship and a bogey competition. The results were as follows: ■ Mrs. Andrews beat Mrs. Hands, 6 and 5; Mrs. Barron beat Mrs. Denniston, 5 and 3. The best cards returned in the bogey competition were Mrs. Andrews, 4 down and Mrs. Murrow, 5 down. The semi-final for the Finn Cup, played on Tuesday, resulted in Mrs. Denniston beating Mrs. Andrews, 1 up. Following is the draw for a stableford competition for the secretary's trophy, and an extra L.G.U. round to be played on Wednesday:— I Mrs Phillips v. Mrs. Finn; Mrs. Hilton v. Mrs. Mouat; Mrs. Hamilton v. (Miss Mitchell; Mrs. Allan v. Mrs. Hands; Mrs. Sly v. Mrs. Johnson; Mrs. Rough v. Mrs. Webb; Mrs. Denniston v Mrs. Colch; Mrs. Andrews v. Miss Thompson; Mrs. Watt v. Mrs. Murrow; Mrs. Marsdon v. Mrs. Guey.
