Eagan's stable is making steady headway, and will probably race in the near future. Dollar Maid, Bexley Girl, and Baron Alfonso are giving away .one second in their respective races tomorrow, but that should not jeopardise their chances. Silver Grattan, engaged in the novice races at Hutt Park, is owned by the Auckland sportsman Mr. D. R. Revell, in whose colours Parisienne races. Cavatina, a daughter of Arion Axworthy and Dilworth, and trained by L. F. Berkett, is reported to be a very promising pacer. Dilworth took a record of 4.19 2-5 before being retired to the stud.
