WOOL IN LONDON
(By Telegraph—Press Assu.—Copyright.) (Received September 23, 11 a.m.) LONDON, September 22. Offerings submitted at the wool sales today were 7915 bales, including 2296 bales New Zealand, and 6493 were sold.
The selection was good, chiefly of Australian merinos. The wool met with active competition and a good clearance was effected at firm rates. New Zealand greasy halfbred "Lincoln Fields" made 12d. Halfbred slipe lambs, "PFCo." sold at 12£ d to 13d.
