, The following awards have been, made by the St. John Ambulance Brigade Overseas: — Cadet Proficiency Badges.—Petone Cadet Ambulance Division, J. Hoar, 2nd Badge for public service, phjvsical exercises, cooking, camping, and j rambling; N. G. Elvines, Ist Badge for -fire fighting, handicraft, cooking, physical exercises. Wellington Cadet Nursing, I. M. Shearer, Ist badge' for preliminary home nursing, child welfare, swimming, life-saving, and cooking. The following appointments have been approved at St. John's Gate and warrants and notifications of appointment are now being distributed: — Corps Officer S. R. Breach, Wellington Corps; Ambulance Officer "On Probation" C. R. Hawkes, Hastings Division. The following appointments have been noted and approved at St. John's Gate: —Private D. N. Brunton to be Corporal, Hastings Division; Private J. Hawkins to be Sergeant, Hastings Division; Private T. Snadden to be Divisional Secretary, Hastings Division. The following warrants of appointment have been received from Brigade Headquarters:—Lady Ambulance Officer, D. M. Scarfe, Napier Nurrfng Division; Lady Cadet* Superintendent M. L. Daniels. Napier Cadet Nursing Division; Lady Ambulance Officer F. McKenzie, Masterton Nursing Division.
