On Saturday an 18-hole stableford "was played at Manor Park. The results in the three sections are as follows: —Senior: E. Moriarty won on a oount back from E. Butler, both players scoring 33 points; intermediate: S. R. Cochrane was the winner with 35 points, next being B. L. Woodhouse, 33 points; in the junior three players returned cards with 33 points, but H. Linley won on a count back from T. S. Baker and J. Kilgour. In the stroke competition on Sunday morning, E. Butler was the senior winner with a 69 net, and J. Logan next with 76; J. Mills with a 67 won in the intermediate*;- followed by M. Hennessey with 70; and in the juniors M. G. Turner headed some good scores with a 64, winning from C. E. Wynne and L. J. Smith, who scored 66 each. _ The winning cards in the bogey in the afternoon were: Senior, J. A. McKay, 1 down; intermediate, A. S. T. Butler, 2 down; junior, M. G. Turner, 2 up. In the Tingey Cup J. Ogilvie and E. F. Armstrong beat A. G. Radford and C. E. Wynne, 6 and 4. In the semifinal of the Br.ee Cup, S. R. Corleison beat E. J. Moriarty 2 and 1, and M. Hennessy beat W. Kincaid, 3 and 2. In the third round of the Timaru Cup J. Kelly beat H. Boon, 1 up, and D. Low beat J. Ogilvie at the nineteenth. The following are the results of the first-round matches in the Veterans' Cup:—G. Munro beat S. Hough, H. Sherwood beat J. Jones, H. Marshall beat D. L.
