SPANISH CHILDREN FUND
The Mayor acknowledges, with j thanks, the following donations to thej National Relief Fund for Spanish Refugee Children: —Previously acknowledged, £1070 10s 4d; the Town Clerk, Johnsonville Town Board, 19s; £1071 9s 4d. Other towns: Previously acknowledged. £532 17s 9d; donations received to date, total, £1604 7s Id. For a second statutory offence of drunkenness, Charles Richard Reynold Petersen, a labourer, was fined 10s, in default 48 hours' imprisonment, by Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M.. in the Magistrate's Court today. Walter Disney has been honoured by Yale University with the degree j of Master of Arts, which was conferred on him because "he has given .animals souls."
