The Wellington South African War Veterans' Association will hold a social evening at the clubrooms, 125 Lambton Quay, tomorrow night at 8 o'clock, in honour of Mr. L. C. Tennent, who is on a short visit to New Zealand. Mr. Tennent left this country with the Fourth New Zealand Mounted Rifles, and members of this contingent are asked to make -a special effort -to attend and participate in the welcome home, after many years' absence in South Africa, of their old comrade-in-arms,
