ORELIO AND BEAU REPAIRE
With the Debutant Stakes decided at Wanganui- on Saturday, the waywill be payed for the first of the season's two-year-old classics, which will be the; Avondale Stakes at Avondale and the John Grigg Stakes at Ashburton on Saturday week. For the Avondale event no less than 32 ■youngsters 'remained, in the race at the 'forfeit:'- At Ashbtirton the field at forfeit was reduced to 10. These two events, along with the.Debutant Stakes, will afford, a tangible idea of what the Strength of the juveniles this season is "likely to be. It seems as if the year will again be very strong with its two-year-olds. .
