(Received September 7, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, September 6. - The correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" at Barcelona says that the fighting is becoming intensified on the Ebro front as the rebels hurl against the loyalist positions 150,000 troops, which are reported to include eight Italian divisions, many of whose men recently arrived from Italy.
The rebels are supposed to have suffered 25,000 casualties on the Ebro front in the course of five weeks of futile efforts to break through, and 20,000 casualties on the Valencia front since Juty. Their efforts are only now partially succeeding because they are supported by quantities of German artillery.
