A team from Karori visited Te Marua on Sunday and a friendly match ended in a draw, after a series of interesting games, Karori winning one and losing two singles, winning two and losing one fourballs, three singles being all square. The following are detailed results, Karori players being mentioned first: — Singles—Miss Matthews and Mrs. Austad, all square; Miss Anderson lost to Miss Gill; Mrs. McGavin and Mrs. Pope all square; Miss Quirke and Miss Robertson, all square; Miss Taylor lost to Mrs. Wheeler; Miss McLauchlan beat Miss Anderson. Fourballs: Miss Matthews and Miss Anderson beat Mrs. Austad and Miss Gill; Mrs. McGavin and Miss Quirke lost to Mrs. Pope and Miss Robertson; Miss Taylor and Miss McLauchlan beat Mrs. Wheeler and Miss Anderson.
