ASSESSORS FOR DISPUTE

(Special to the "Evening Post.")

PALMERSTON N., This Day,

Representatives of county councils, borough councils, hospital boards, power boards, and city councils in the Wellington industrial -district met in Palmerston North yesterday to consider the demands of the Local Body Officers' Industrial Union of Workers for a new award. Those selected as assessors were Messrs. E. P. Norman, Town Clerk, Wellington; A. J. Phillipps, managing secretary of the Palmerston North Hospital Board; G. Brown, secretary of the Wairarapa Hospital Board; and J. D. C. Mackley, clerk, Wairarapa County Council.
