SON-IN-LAW, STILL GOING

It was recently reported in England that Sir A. Bailey's 27-year-old stallion Son-in-Law had finished his stud career. This, is incorrect, as, notwithstanding his years, it is intended to use him for another season or two, though the number of mares will be limited. A great stayer himself, Son-in-Law has sired many of the same, class,, and up to the end of last year his progeny had credited him with over £350,000. His!fee this season was 300 guineas.
