WELSH COAL TO ITALY
GRANDI VISITS COLLIERIES

In view of the recent expansion oi Italian trade, business circles attach importance to a surprise visit by the Italian Ambassador (Count Grandi) to collieries in South Wales.
Welsh ports shipped 575,477 tons of coal to Italy in the first half of 1938, an increase of 224,664 tons on the corresponding period of 1937.
