The Vienna correspondent of Ifce "Daily Telegraph" says that all Roman Catholic pastors read a pastoral letter signed by Cardinal Innitzer on behalf of the archbishops and bishops throughout Austria, declaring their religious defiance against the Nazis and pledging themselves to protest against the secularisation of marriages and the ex-, elusion of priests and nuns as teachers from educational and charitable establishments.
