THE EXHIBITION

COMBINED EFFORT

The last s provincial committee, North Auckland, gave its approval; of a combined provincial effort to the N.Z. Centennial Exhibition Company last Thursday. It now remains .to be seen whether the individual contributions which the provincial committees are willing to'bind themselves to will meet the approval of the directors. It is essential that the amount each district provides should be definite before the combined provincial scheme, which, will go before the directors on Monday, is finally approved. «

Various other matters will be considered on Monday, including traffic control, transport, and accommodation. In view of, the present congested state of the city these are important questions, but the committees appointed to deal with them have not been idle, arid their recommendations should be interesting.
