LONDON LAMB MARKET
The frozen'lamb market in London is very- firm,- prices having again advanced, according to the weekly cable received by the New Zealand Meat Producers' ( Board; .Consumption continues to be gopd v . Trade in wethers and ewes is slow and, with the exception of prices, tend to be easier. .':Chilled beef prices,: with lighter supplies, have improved substantially. Lightweight. New Zealand porker pigs axe firmer but trade is slow owing to warm., weather. Baconer pigs are: easier owing- to poor demand. The board advises that the following are the ruling; prices of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of frozen meat mentioned and are for representative parcels of the goods sold on Thursday.
