There was no outstanding feature on the Sydney Stock Exchange today beyond a lively demand for Oil Search shares, which moved up from 8s 3d to 8s 9d. Taranakis also advanced to 14s. On the Stock Exchange of Melbourne today short-dated loans were in demand. Leading industrials and Barriers continued to improve on better news from overseas. .
