The results of the South Island titles were as follows (abbreviations: (A.) Auckland, (C.) Canterbury, (S.C.) South Canterbury, (0.) Otago:— Men's Singles.—Semi-finals: L. C. Brown (O.) beat C. Angas (C), 21-14, 21-18; F. Paton (A.) beat J. E. Swift (A.), 21-11, 21-17. Final: Paton beat Brown, 21-15, 21-13, 21-18. Men's Doubles. —Semi-finals: F. Levenbach and C. Angas (C.) beat L. C. Brown and E. C. Stanton (0.), 18-21, 22-20, 22-20; F. Paton and I. Drabble (A.) beat L. Meier and M. McGillivray (C), 20-22, 23-21, 21-16. Final: Paton and Drabble beat Levenbach and Angas, 122-20, 15-21. 21-9, 21-10. Women's Singles.—Seml-flnals: Miss A. Wilkinson (A.) beat Miss Lee (S.C), 21-14, 16-21, 21-18; Miss I. Dove (A.) beat Miss McAdam (A.), 16-21, 21-15, 21-14. Final: Miss Dove beat Miss Wilkinson, 16-21, 21-16, 22-20. Women's Doubles.—Semi-finals: Misses I. Dove and P. Linehan (A.) beat Miss Bennett and Mrs. Friend (0.), 21-15, 21-8; Misses McAdam and Wilkinson (A.) beat Misses Burton and Lee (S.C), 20-22, 21-9, 21-15. Final: I Misses McAdam and Wilkinson, beat Misses Dove and Linehan, 16-21, 21-15, 21-11. Mixed Doubles,—Seml-flnals: Miss I. Dove and F. Paton (A.) beat Miss Bennett and IT. Levenbach (C), 81-15, 21-16; Miss D. McAdam and J. Drabble (A.)' beat Miss Cramp and L. Meier (C), 16-21, 21-5, 21-16. Final: Miss Dove and Paton beat Miss McAdam and Drabble, 21-9, 21-10.
