VISIT TO AUCKLAND

MRS. ADAM HAMILTON

A very cordial welcome from the women's organisation of the New Zealand National Party awaited Mrs. Hamilton, wife of the Leader of the Opposition, the Hon. A. Hamilton, when she arrived by the Limited express in Auckland, states the "New Zealand Herald." On behalf of members the president, Dr. H. Northcroft, presented her with a beautiful bouquet. In the afternoon Mrs. Hamilton visited friends at Devonport and in the evening she attended the ball given by the Auckland Central branch of the Junior National League in the Cabaret Metropole, accompanied by her husband. Mrs. Hamilton and Mr. Hamilton were entertained also by the women's organisation at tea.
