Mr. G. H. Anderson, a labourer, residing at Paraparaumu, was completely buried by a fall of rock at Reikorangi this morning. He ■ was dug out and was found to be suffering from severe facial injuries, injuries to the back, and A shock. He received treatment from a doctor at Paraparaumu, and the Free Ambulance brought him, in to hospital this afternoon. TEST CRICKET QUENCHES FIRE. Nelson. —Sitting iip to listen in to the cricket Test proved fortunate at the Junction Hotel, Takaka, this morning. At 1.30 a.m. the listeners smelt fire and found the staff sitting-room ablaze.
