"Evening Post," a bye. B GRADE RESULTS. Section 1. Harbour Board 45$ v. "Evening Post" 450. Brooklyn 469 v. P.W.M.C. Ladies (defaulted). Aotea 462 v. Petone Ladies 454. The final round of B grade, section 1, has been completed, and the leaders are Harbour Board and Aotea, with one loss each. There will. probably be a triangular match between these two teams and Hutt, the winners of section. 2, to. decide the B grade champion team. WAIRARAPA. The second bi-annual return match between Wairarapa and Wellington teams takes place at the South Featherston range next Saturday evening. S. S& sis ssfii F.i cK J. Waterworth (W.W.M.C). PUBLIC SERVICE CLUB. The Public Service. Club held its usual handicap competitions last week. Miss J. Cook wat first and A. V. G. Wilson second The leading rifle scores were those of Miss Cook and Wilson, 97 each, and D. A. Bosie, 9b. The previous week's tie between E. A. v Thomas and Wilson, resulted in favour of the latter. ■ OSMOND AND LADIES' SHIELDS. The' second round of the Osmond and Ladles' Shields commences next week, the shooting being from August '29 to September 9. There should be some good scores, as there is a. decided improvement in shooting in all of the clubs. If clubs have not yet entered they can still do so provided tile secretary is notified early this week. PETONE LADIES' CLUB. The Petone ladies' competition for Mr. R. A. Hartley's and Mrs. Scott's trophies resulted as follows:—Grade Al, Miss N. Gregory 1, Mrs. Porter 2. Grade A 2, Miss M. Barr 1, Miss M. Wilson 2. Grade B, Mrs. Morton 1, Mrs. Lambert 2. Some good scores were registered. Miss N. Gregory had a possible of 70 and a 67. SATURDAY AFTERNOON SHOOT. Interest in the weekly shoots at the Association range was maintained last Saturday afternoon. K. MacDowall scored the only possible off the rifle and collected the trophy for that event. R. S. Owen scored the otfiy handicap possible and took first prize. There were four 99's and In the shoot-off A. V. G. Wilson was second and "A.. Ford third. The leading handicap scores were those of R. S. Owen, 100; R. Congreve, K. Harrison, R. S. Owen, and A. V. G. Wilson, 99 each. The leading rifle scores were those of K. MacDowall, 100; R- Congreve, K. Harrison, R. S. Owen, and A.'V. G. Wilson, 98 each. The novelty golf targets—pairs competition— was won by P. W. Congreve and B. Keys. The leading rifle, aggregates—six shoots —are those of R; S. Owen (591), K. Harrison (590), F. J. Waterworth (588), H. R. Keene (581), and P. W. Congreve (579). The leading handicap aggregates—six shoots —are those of R. ■S. Owen, and Miss M. Calder (599 each), A. V. G. Wilson (598), K. Harrison (597), and B. Keys (594).

As the Wellington v. Wairarapa match Is being held at South Featherston next Saturday, this week's shoot will be from 1 p.m. till 4 p.m., and members are requested to be early. There will be no novelty shoot.
