MANOR PARK LADIES' CLUB
A Canadian foursome medal round played on Saturday by the Manor Park Ladies' Club was won by Miss Taylor and Mrs. Cockburri, 93, 14—79.
An 18-hole bogey yesterday morning was won by Miss McGrath, 4 down.'
In the Yankee fourball competition, Mrs. Smith and Miss Read and Miss Jones and Miss Taylor were all square. Miss Jones and Miss Taylor beat Miss King and Mrs. Cockburn, 4 •'and 3; Miss McGrath and Mrs. Elsmore beat Miss Heard and Miss Gabriel, 9 and 7.
A one-club match in the afternoon caused great interest, and players who decided to carry a wood were frequently required to show their skill in getting out of bunkers. The competition was won by Mrs. Stanley, whose , card was 95, 23 —72, with a No. 2 iron.
