The Belmont Club senior championship was won for the second year in succession by J. Rudman, who beat J. Corson in the final clayed yes-
in the morning to cover the course in 67 (one under bogey), and returned to lunch 8 up. He. increased his lead in the afternoon to take the match by 13 and 12. The secretary's trophy was won by N. Rudman, who defeated T. Harkins, 2 and 1, in the final played on Saturday. . . In the quarter-finals of the junior championship, J. Sutherland beat I. Tustin, 1 up; P. J. Ryan beat J. Barry, 3 and 2; A. Ambrose beat S. Burge, 1 up; P. Brice beat R. Feilding, 5 and 4. In the semi-finals of the ladies' championship, Miss N. Marshall beat Mrs. G. Spence, and Miss E. Hepburn beat Miss K. Farquhar. The fourball bogey competition yesterday for Mr. Ward's trophy was won by N. Rudman (6) and T. Harkins (18), 7 up. The ladies' eclectic competition for Mr. Ward's trophy was won by Miss N. Marshall (36) with a net 28.
