ADAMS BEATS CALTEAUX
(By Telegrapb—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH,. August 21. At Ashburton, Leg Adams, lOst 21b, Ashburton professional boxer, beat Victor Calteaux, lOst 51b, Auckland, oa points in a professional welterweight contest of 12 rounds.
A particularly even and. clean contest was seen. Calteaux made, manyfast attacks, but, was erratic at times, arid Adams gained points with steady straight lefts, which bored through his opponent's defence.
