The Dairy Board is advised by the Marketing Department that at close of business in London on Saturday, the New Zealand and Danish butter market was steadier at the end of the week. Prices quoted were as follows: —

English farmers' cheese commands 84s to 86s per cwt, and factory cheese 65s to 665. ~. New Zealand cheese is still selling retail at 9d per lb.
