The directors of M.K. Manufacturers, Limited, Auckland, have declared an interim dividend of 6 per cent, for the half-year ended June 30, payable tod!y ,-~ TJlis compares with an interim of 10 per cent, and a final of 8 per cent, last year. In a circular to shareholders the directors state that owing to ill health Mr. H. Koning recently tendered his resignation as managing director and Mrs. Koning had also resigned from the .board, and they no longer have any interests in the company. Mr. W. J. Spring has been appointed to the board. It is stated that the company is showing, continued progress, and arrangements are being made for the erection of a large up-to-date factory, which will be leased on a satisfactory long-term basis. This should considerately reduce costs of production by the improved lay-out. The directors add . that they consider it wise to adopt a conservative policy regarding interim dividend.
