DANCE AT CABARET
The Worser Bay Amateur Swimming and Life-saving Club held a dance at the Rio Grande Cabaret on Saturday night. The members of the social committee were well repaid for their efforts, there being a large attendance and everyone entering with spirit into the various novelty dances which were a feature of the evening. Miss T. Thurston and' Mr: N. Smith won the "Reel" Monte Carlo dance, Miss E. Copeland and Mr. F. Anderson were the-winners of the "Lucky Spot," and an. especially amusing competition, "Sale of a Horse," was won by Miss M. Smith. There was a very good orchestra, and Mr. Arthur Haley was the mfister of ceremonies. The evening closed on a particularly festive note with a well-organised streamer dance.
