Eulogistic reference to.the work of Mr. J. R. Sutcliffe as headmaster of Scots College was made at lasi night's annual meeting of the Scots College Old Boys' Association. A motion of congratulation on Mr.. Sutcliffe's appointment to the- position' Of principal of the Melbourne Church "of England Grammar School; and of sincere appreciation of his efforts at • Scot* College, was passed unanimously. Mr. G. Walker, Labour member for Salisbury in the Rhodesian. Parliament and organiser of the Rhodesian Labour Party, who is at present in Australia,1 intends to come to New Zealand to examine the results of recent Labour legislation in this country i Mr. Walker has relatives in New Zealand^ •-
