SEATOUN STILL LEAD SENIORS

RECORD OF SWIFTS IN FIRST B DIVISION

Championship games in the first A division of the W.F.A. competitions on Saturday produced no surprises, the nearest approach to one being the result of the Marist-Petone game, a 2-all draw. On recent performances Petone were favoured to win this game, and by losing the point while Hospital gained two at the expense of Diamond they have now Hospital's company in third place on the table. The fourth team is Marist, five points behind. The leaders, Seatoun, had an easy win over Scottish Wanderers, as also did the runners-up, Waterside, from Technical Old Boys.

Swifts maintained their unbeaten record in the first B division by defeating Lower Hutt, 6-2, and Institute Old Boys, in second position on the table, beat Miramar Rangers 8-0. A 5-2 win over Nada brought Stop Out into third place on the table, level with Lower Hutt. In both divisions, however, allowance should be made for the different number of games played by the various teams. Saturday's matches were played on greasy grounds, with occasional heavy showers.
