HOMING PIGEONS
The Wellington Homing Pigeon Society held its weekly show in the clubroom. Classes for cocks and hens were provided. The judge was Mr. W. Bailey, a very capable and successful fancier for many years. The winner of each class received a trophy given by Mr. L. Perkins and Mr. T. Andrews respectively. Results were:—A.O.C. cocks: Heyward and Hoare, 1 and special; E. ODea, 2; L. Perkins, .3; v.h.c, Heyward and Hoare; h.c, J. Orr; c, F. Couper and Son. A.O.C. Hens.—A. Reader, 1 and special; L. Perkins, 2; N. Boyd and Son, 3; v.h.c, A. Reader; h.c, W. Thomas; c, A. Reader. The final show will be held next Tuesday.
