RUSSIA AND BRITAIN
NAVAL LIMITATION
(British Official Wireless.) (Received July 7, 11.30 a.m.) RUGBY, July 6. A protocol of the London Naval Treaty of 1936 invoking the so-called escalator clause and making provision for an upper limit of 45,000 tons for battleships and a gun calibre of 16 inches has been signed by Russia and Britain.
