Mrs. H. T. Armstrong, Christchurch, arrived at Wellington this morning by Jhe inter-island steamer express.
Miss Elsie Andrews, M.8.E., who is "touring. New Zealand in connection with, the Fan-Pacific Women's Association, is now the guest of Mrs. C. C* Jackson, Kopuaranga. She will arrive at Wellington tomorrow night.
Mr. and. Mrs. A. F. Speight, Southland, have returned from a cruise to the South Sea Islands. They will attend the Trentham races before returning to the south.

Miss Elizabeth Xpe arrived: by ferry this morning from ;Otago and tomorrow night will leave for Waikato for further rehearsals of plays for the Drama .League Festivals.
Dr. and Mrs. Earp-Thomas, Wellington, will leave today .by the Maunganui for a visit to* the South Sea Islands. On their return they will spend the winter at the Bay of Islands. They are accompanied by their daughter, Miss Earp-Thomas.' . - : .
Mr. and Mrs. Endell-Wanklyn will arrive from Christchurch tomorrow to attend the Wellington Racing Club's Winter Meeting at Trentham.
Mrs. J. M. Hussey and her sister, Miss F. L. Paul, Wanganui, are visiting Wellington for-the races and are staying at the Hotel JWaterlo'd. - -
Mrs. G. Beatson, Hastings, wife of the president of the Hawke's Bay. Racing Club, is visiting Wellington for the Trentham races, arid is staying at the Midland Hotel.
