SATURDAY'S TRIAL
TEAMS SELECTED
. Teams drawn from the senior A, second division, and the senior B division of the Wellington Rugby Union will meet in a representative Rugby trial match at Athletic Park on Saturday afternoon as a. curtain-raiser to the Wellington-Wellington- College Old Boys senior match.
• The following teams have been selected by Mr. Mark Nicholls, in conjunction with the grade coaches: —
A Team.—Backs: Tricklebank" (University), Badland (Athletic), Wild (University), Eastwood (University), Thompson (Wellington), Nolan (Oriental) . Forwards: Wilton (Athletic), Burke (University), Thomas (University), Ansley (Oriental), McNicol (University),'. Burkett (Pirates), Grint (Miramar), McDonald (Wellington).
B Team.—Backs: Taylor (Poneke), Harpur (University), Thomas COnslow), Dougan (Petone),. Thomas (Onslow), Linklater (Old Boys), Edgell (Wellington). Forwards: Cave (Wellington)', Bentley (Onslow), McNeil (Marist), Shortt (Old Boys), Armour (University), McLean (Marist), Dennehy (Marist), Reid (Poneke).
Emergencies for both teams: —Backs: McGurk (Petone), Davies (Oriental), Gini (Marist), Quinn (Marist); forwards, Humpherson (Oriental), Hansen (University), Cunliffe (University), O'Brien (Marist).
No practices will be held. The players will be supplied with jerseys. The match* will start at 1.15 p.m.
