BILLIARDS
Last evening a team of Hutt Valley billiards and snooker players contested a return game at the Victory Room, Wellington, against the local team. Showing vast improvement since their earner game, the Hutt Valley team was unfortunate to lose by one game only. Following are the results, the Victoi-y players being mentioned first:—Billiards: Lee beat Douglas; Thomas lost to Franks; McMillan beat Mason; Isbit lost to Standish; Taylor lost to Barrow; Petersen lost to Smith. Snooker: Billows beat Anderson; Looner beat McEwan; Hines beat Mudgway. .
