Thirty years ago,. Mr. P. N. Quartermain, now treasurer of the New Zealand Men's Hockey Association, was a pupil under the present principal of the Christchurch Technical College (Dr. D. E. Hansen). Dr. Hansen recalled this fact when Mr. Quartermain accompanied the Indian hockey team on a visit to the college, states the Christchurch "Star-Sun."
